Current preview

Forms on this static preview are not connected to a server. Clicking submit does not transmit or store a submission. Do not upload personal documents or confidential information in this preview.

Who operates this service

The responsible BRC legal entity, postal address and privacy contact must be added before any live collection begins. The applicable Alberta and Canadian privacy requirements, as well as requirements for visitors in other jurisdictions, must be assessed.

Information proposed for collection

For owner registration: name, contact details, location, aircraft model and serial number, build status, configuration, engine, avionics, optional photographs and optional ownership documentation. For parts inquiries: contact details, requested part identifiers and optional supporting documents.

Purposes and choices

Use information to respond to requests, verify eligibility where necessary, maintain owner records and provide requested support. Promotional emails and permission to publish photographs must be separate, optional choices; declining either must not prevent registration.

Access, sharing and security

Only authorised staff and contracted service providers should access information for stated purposes. Before launch implement HTTPS, secure upload validation, access controls, retention schedules, backups and documented breach response. Do not make serial-number records or invoices publicly searchable.

Retention and individual rights

Specify concrete retention periods and procedures for access, correction, withdrawal of optional consent and deletion requests where applicable. Identify how requests are submitted and how legal record-keeping exceptions are handled.

International visitors

If collecting information from outside Canada, assess applicable cross-border privacy and marketing rules before launch. Do not assume that Canadian hosting alone resolves those obligations.

Before launch

Replace these draft descriptions with the actual data flows, legal entity, processors, hosting location, contact information, retention periods and lawful consent mechanisms.
